Hello and Welcome to Tyler's Memorial Website

This is a website to remember and honor the memory of Tyler John Troyer.
Tyler was a cherished Son, a good Brother, a loyal Friend....and one of the Few, the Proud, a U.S. Marine.
Tyler was a normal kid who was mature beyond his years.He had his whole life ahead of him, and had an idea of what he wanted to do with it.

But, when the planes struck the World Trade Center Buildings on Sept 11th 2001, Tyler made up his mind to give up his normal life, his girlfriend, and his mistress....baseball, for a rifle and a title...U.S. Marine.
Like many Marines before him, Tyler ended up fighting the enemies of freedom, and the opressors of human rights, in Iraq.
In the 4th year of his service to the flag of the United States of America, on the evening of Novemeber 19th 2005, an insurgents lucky shot struck down our Tyler on the roof of the Iraqi Police Station while Tyler watched over his fellow Marines.
Despite heroic efforts by Navy Corpman and Marines, Tyler succumbed to his injuries and he left his damaged body behind in Al- Karmah...and accended into Heaven.
